From Lincoln's Toolbox....Literally!



Nope that's not a metaphor I'm using. That cutting tool you see me holding in that picture is actually from Abraham Lincoln's personal toolbox. In one of the photos, you can see where Lincoln carved an "A. L." for his initials. It it housed in the old state capitol museum in Vandalia, Illinois where Lincoln served as a state legislator. It's not everyday that you get to handle an actual artifact that was used daily by such a great historical figure.
