CAN SARAH PALIN AND THE TEAPARTY MOVEMENT CHANGE THE WAY WASHINGTON WORKS
I asked this question on my Radio show a few days ago and I got a lot of responses.
Boy did I ever, the bottom line is yes, yes they both can and will change how Washington
Works! If nothing else both Sarah Palin and the Tea Party movement has sparked the great
debate on how bad our Political system is working and that is a good thing.
Whether you like or dislike Mrs. Palin she says what a lot of Americans are thinking. The difference is every time Mrs. Palin say something the Press and the Media on both sides of the spectrum will quote and analyze her every word. When Mrs. Palin speak the Media listens and that means what ever she is talking about is becoming a discussion around the water cooler and that is what we need dialog!
The country is in bad shape because We The People are not keeping a eye on what is going on. I’m not going to say that Mrs. Palin is the next Republican leader or she should run for President but like her are not she has energized a lot of people, and she has asked a lot of the right questions that needs to be answers.
The Tea Party Movement started as a small voice in March of 2009 and has grown to a deafening roar to the point that the movement is mention every day in the Media. Now as a person that works in the Media I know that there are News Stories that stay in the lime light and News stories that just move to the non issues pile and people forget them. The Tea Party Movement has sparked a flame with everyone that believes in the Constitution, small Government, lower taxes, free trade, Capitalism, no Government run Healthcare and ect…. Now if you listen to the Corp. Liberal Media you would think that the Tea Party Movement was a bunch of Red neck radical Right Wing extremists having a KKK Rally in the back hill of the South.
This is not true I have attended several Tea Party Rally’s including The Tea Party Bus Rally that was held in Dallas Texas. I had a chance to speak with people on the right, the center, and left they all had the same problems with our Government. The Tea Party Movement has given people a voice that has let our elected officials know they are being watched and they know that people will vote them out in November if they do not get their act together.
The bottom line is both Sarah Palin and the Tea Party movement has made News in the Media and that will shine the light on how well our Government is working!

HOW TO WIN IN 2010
They tell you they will help you, we will fix Healthcare, feed the hungry, Educate your children, we will give you a career etc.... This sounds like a dream come true, my ship has come in I'll be taking care of and so the rabbit hole goes! This is what today's Democratic party wants you to believe. I call this Socialism right here in the United States Of America a nation where freedom rings and we work hard to live our dreams. Our Nation was founded on Conservative Principles and Values, Remember Uncle Sam Needs You! Now we act like WE Need Him!
How did we get here? As I sit here I thinking how great it is to live in a nation that insures our Freedoms. I lived to see the first Black President Of The United States. Unfortunately he is apart of a Political Party that has distorted History since it's Origins.
The Democratic Party, you know the party of the People! That was the History I was taught! I was suppose to believe the hype of a new beginning, equality, I have a voice, down with with the system, and The Republican Party doesn't work for you Party! The Party that elected a President who supported the Indian removal and slavery, renowned for his toughness, he was nicknamed “Old Hickory! I offend wonder what would President Andrew Jackson a man that believed in Slavery would think about his Party electing the First Black President in our nations history.
The more I learn the more I will teach you!
The first step to winning is for the Republican Party and Conservatives to stop the infighting, "Remember to divide your enemy is to defeat your enemy" We need to come together, work together and set aside of our problems! Conservative values unite us and that is the key.
Second step to winning in 2010 is for the Republican party to learn it's true history? Why was the Party founded and who did it represent? We need to ask those questions and find the answers and teach those answers!
Third step to winning in 2010 is for the Conservative Media and leaders stop the belly aching and come up with solid solutions to the problems that we face, to reach out to minorities, and independents with a new message. Not the same old song and dance we been doing for the last 60 year, go back to the basics!
Obama has no power if he losses Congress!
Remember we can win in 2010
“You take the Blue "DEMOCRATIC" Pill the story ends! You take the Red "REPUBLICAN" Pill stay in Wonder land and they will show you how far the deep the rabbit hole goes!”

TALK RADIO MUST HAVE MISSED THIS!!
It's funny when I was doing SHOW PREP for my Radio show I came across THE BROADCASTERS FREEDOM ACT...... Now I have not heard any of the BIG TALK SHOW FELLAS say anything about this Bill sponsored By Mike Pence (R) IN and co sponsored by a number of fellow Republicans.
Now I will admit I don't spend 24 hours listening to every talk show out there, but so far I have about about Micheal Phleps smoking weed, how President Obama is a rock star, and how they are against the Stimulation Bill (which is important).
Now is Talk Radio dying...... Has talk radio become "got you politics", are we going to hear about every little thing that President Obama wears, eat, hell will they tell there listeners what kind of toilet paper he uses to wipe his ass!
If this is all the talking heads have to talk about then it is the death of talk radio! whether you are on the right or left make sure you sure you find out what the issues are fore yourself because these guys are so in love with President Obama that they will tell you everything to make you hate him instead of trying to pull the party together and working on stopping Bills like The Fairness Doctrine!
Remember ALL OF YOUR TALK SHOW HOST GET PAID A LOT OF MONEY TO SAY THINGS THAT MAKE THEM SEEM IMPORTANT!!!!!!
Here is a link to the Broadcasters Freedom Act Click Here!
Be sure to let your Representative you support them on this matter!
This is the way we stop the Fairness Doctrine!

The Republican Era 1860-1932
The Republican Era 1860-1932
SOURCE: www.socastee.comThe second Republican national convention in 1860 resulted in the presidential nomination of Abraham Lincoln. The Republican platform pledged not to extend slavery and called for enactment of free-homestead legislation, prompt establishment of a daily overland mail service, a transcontinental railroad, and support of the protective tariff. Lincoln was opposed by three major candidates-Stephen Douglas (Northern Democrat), John Cabell Breckinridge (Southern Democrat), and John Bell (Constitutional Union party). Lincoln received almost half a million votes more than Douglas, but won the election with only 39.8 percent of the popular vote.
The defeat of the South in the Civil War left the Democratic party-closely allied with the Confederacy-in shambles. The Republicans,on the other hand, were in the ascendancy. With the election of Ulysses S. Grant, the Republicans began a period of national dominance that lasted for more than 70 years, only occasionally breached by a Democratic victory.
The Republicans nominated Rutherford B. Hayes of Ohio in 1876. The party was reunited as Hayes promised to remove the federal troops from the South and urged civil service reform. The Hayes administration was generally efficient. It ended Reconstruction, reformed the civil service, and espoused sound money policies. Hayes did not seek a second term. Instead, James A. Garfield was nominated as the Republican candidate in 1880. Chester A. Arthur of New York was nominated for vice-president. After a close win, Garfield was assassinated and Arthur became president of the United States. Arthur astonished many with his success in getting passed the Pendleton Act, creating a civil service based on the merit system. He was never able to gain control of his party, however, and was the only president denied renomination by his party's convention. James G. Blaine of Maine received the nomination instead and faced Democrat Grover Cleveland of New York in the 1884 election. In a campaign infamous as one of the dirtiest in history, Cleveland, aided by the mugwumps led by Carl Schurz, defeated Blaine by a narrow margin.
Much of Cleveland's presidency was dominated by debate over the protective tariff. In 1888, after Blaine declined to run, Republicans chose Benjamin Harrison as their nominee. Campaigning strongly in favor of the protective tariff, Harrison defeated Cleveland by an electoral vote of 233 to 168. The Republicans passed the Sherman Anti-Trust Act, admitted several new states to the Union, and passed the highly protective McKinley Tariff Act.
President Harrison, was renominated in 1892 but lost the election to Grover Cleveland. A generally lackluster Cleveland administration-provided hope for the Republicans. In 1896, William McKinley of Ohio became the Republican candidate. McKinley beat William Jennings Bryan by a substantial margin. McKinley received support from the industrial Northeast and the business community. Bryan received his votes from agricultural areas, the South, the West, and from the laboring man.
McKinley's first term was dominated by the 10-week-long Spanish-American War (1898) and the subsequent acquisition of Guam, Puerto Rico, the Philippines, and the annexation of Hawaii. These events increasingly thrust the United States into world politics. The only question regarding the Republican ticket in 1900 was who would replace Vice-President Garret Hobart who had died the previous year. Governor Theodore Roosevelt of New York was chosen. McKinley again defeated William Jennings Bryan but was assassinated in 1901. Theodore Roosevelt was sworn in as president, inaugurating a remarkable era in American political history.
Under Theodore Roosevelt the country saw reforms in economic, political, and social life. Republicans took the lead in conservation efforts and, to the dismay of some old stalwarts, began implementing Roosevelt's trust-busting ideas. Roosevelt's overwhelming reelection in 1904 inaugurated a new era of regulatory legislation and conservation measures. As he had promised, he chose not to run in 1908 and urged the party to nominate William Howard Taft of Ohio.
Taft defeated Bryan, who was running for the third time. At the Chicago convention in 1912, Roosevelt challenged Taft for the nomination. Failing to win, Roosevelt bolted the party and ran as the Progressive party candidate. Thus split, the Republicans decisively lost the presidency to Woodrow Wilson.
In 1916 the Republicans nominated Supreme Court Justice Charles Evans Hughes, but Wilson's domestic record, his personal popularity, and his pledge to keep the United States out of the war in Europe were obstacles too great for Hughes to overcome. Despite Wilson's promises, the United States was drawn into World War I, and party politics gave way to bipartisan prosecution of the war. Republicans won control of the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 1918 elections.
The Republican ticket of Warren G. Harding and Calvin Coolidge won the 1920 election by a landslide. Harding's administration was plagued by scandals which were inherited by Coolidge after Harding's death in 1923. In a politically astute move, Coolidge appointed two special prosecutors to deal with the scandals, one from each party. Nominated in his own right in 1924, Coolidge was reelected by a large margin. In 1928, Coolidge declined to run again, and the Republicans turned to Herbert Hoover of California. Hoover won by an unprecedented landslide against Alfred E. Smith. Republicans also won control of both houses of Congress. Hoover was renominated in 1932 in the depths of the Depression of the 1930s, but Franklin D. Roosevelt defeated him in one of the great landslide victories in U.S. history. The 70-year era of Republicanism was at an end. One of Roosevelt's major accomplishments was wooing the black vote away from the Republicans.

OH NO IT'S THE MEDIA WHERE DID WE GO WRONG!
Anyone that works in Radio or Television which is a part of THE MEDIA already knows why BET exist! But for those of you that don't know BET Networks is a subsidiary of Viacom, Inc. Viacom (NYSE: VIA) (NYSE: VIAB), short for "Video & Audio Communications", is an American media conglomerate with various worldwide interests in cable and satellite television! In other words BET is a part of a company.
The biggest myth about BET is that is all about Black People having their own TV Channel. I happened to know lots of people of all colors that watch BET. The real truth to this and ALL MEDIA is MONEY!!!!
See everything you see, hear, and read is there to make MONEY it's called Market share and it's measured by ratings! There is a market share for BET just like FOX NEWS, CNN, ABC, CBS, and many other MEDIA Outlets!
You may hear some of the talking head say "THEY HAVE CONTROL" to a point they do, but if they start losing MONEY you can bet someone from the head office will take control and make some changes.
It's all a game whether it's TALK RADIO or MAINSTREAM NEWS MEDIA there is bias on both sides. Most Talk Radio is some talking head that shouting into the mic about the Dems did this or that reporter did not ask the HARD Questions and the MAINSTREAM Media will report on slanted stories and as long as both have a large audience neither will change the way they work. If you want fair and balance then listen to both and that way you get both side of the spectrum.
